Hello, I'm Kristen O'Connor, owner of Champion Horse Blankets, horse lover and ranch owner. I have been involved with horses for over 40 years.

I started at a very young age riding at the original Thunderbird on 200th and it did not take long for this passion to stick.  I have had horses in my life in some capacity since whether it be working with them, owning them, rescuing them, or breeding. I now have them at my home and am extremely fortunate to have been able to find a few different ways to be able to have them here and work around them full time.

Being involved in the Equestrian community has been wonderful; I have made many lifelong friends across the lower mainland, BC, Canada and now even in the USA. Over the years I have worked at several barns (both full and part time), whether being a stall cleaner, working student or groom. I have dreamed of making horses a full time job my whole life and this dream has finally come true for me.
